Our board and our staff seek to educate, to drive consensus, to tackle systemic issues and to quite literally walk the walk as well as talking the talk.
So we also will take a lead role in encouraging the thousands of unvaccinated people to protect themselves, and we will start by engaging on the topic with our own partners.
Beginning now, we will ask organizations that we consider inviting to apply for funding two critical questions: what percentage of your employees are vaccinated? If it is not 100%, what is your plan for getting to that number?
Unless we educate and encourage our neighbors about the importance of taking personal responsibility for defeating this pandemic and protecting our neighbors, there will be no return to a truly normal life.
